J. Brown 3 gallon Jar

I took a few pictures of this pot in Ted's studio. Ted's not sure who, where, or when it was made but it's one of his favorite old pots. Maybe my friend David Springs can give us an idea. I'll keep looking for clues. Here are a couple of views.

  1. I visited your studio at Penland when I took a class with Ben Owens. Enjoyed watching you make your pachyderm teapot. Saw you made it to Ron's house last event. He's a great guy and good friend. When I started making my first pots to sell, I would tell buyers that they were contributing to my pottery book collection. Discovered the Cooper book at the local library where I kept their ceramics inventory checked out regularly for about 4 years.
